This is as all around a ski you can get. It has a mellow flex but strong edge hold on hard pack when needed. The Affinity Pure is forgiving enough for intermediate skiers but has enough support to handle advanced skiers as well.
The 2011-2012 Atomic Affinity Pure womens skis spec....
- Performance level- Intermediate to advanced skiers skiing the whole mountain.
- Sidecut- A 148 cm has a 120.5 - 79 - 99.5 mm sidecut with 14m radius. Great balance for skiing the whole mountain.
- Construction- A Cap Fiber Core construction along with the Step Down Sidewall construction on the Affinity Pure is forgiving enough for intermediates but has enough support to handle strong advanced skiers as well.
- Rocker- The Atomic Adaptive Rocker Profile means instant turn Initiation on packed snow but offers float In softer snow.
- Binding- Includes the XTO 10 system binding with a DIN setting of 3-10.

Our comments; By adding slight rocker in the tip, the Atomic Affinity Pure has an effortless turn initiation both on and off piste with added float in chop and crud so the tip won't hang up or feel hooky when the snow pack becomes inconsistent.
