The Atomic D2 VF 75 men's skis
D2 stands for DoubleDeck. VF stands for Vario Flex. 75 is the sidecut. But what you really need to know is when you unite these three together, you get a revolutionary ski that skis well.
The 2011-2012 Atomic D2 VF 75 ski features....
- Performance level- Designed for good intermediate to expert skiers who like to ski fast down groomed runs and occasionally ski the ungroomed now and then.
- D2- Two freely gliding decks combined together give you maximum agility with a smooth ride. Which means you put less effort in the turns and get more fun on the slopes.
- Ski Construction- The Vario Flex Densolite design is dynamic and lightweight. This allows the flex of the ski to adapt automatically to the speed, terrain and style of the skier.
- Active Camber- Traditional camber gives the ski a solid feel and stability and higher cruising speeds. Many skis with rocker will vibrate in the tips.
- Sidecut- A 151 cm ski has a 116 -73 -101 sidecut with a 12.5 radius. The 75 mm waist makes this ski a groomer but don't be afraid to venture off the groomed runs.
- Binding- The Atomic Neox TL 12 system binding has a DIN setting of 4-12.

Our comments: Atomic is known for pushing the limits with technology in new ski designs and this ski is no different. The DoubleDeck design is unique and works! These ski smooth and yet are very easy to turn. Atomic stayed up late and did their homework to get the D2 VF 75 skis to be this good.
