The Atomic Hawx 90 ski boots
The Atomic Hawx 90 is one of Atomic's well loved boots. The Hawx series boots were designed for North American skiers because we ski a little different and have different terrain and snow conditions than skiers in Europe.
The 2011-2012 Atomic Hawx 90 features.....
- Skier type- ALL-MOUNTAIN type 3 skier. Designed for aggressive advanced to expert skiers skiing the whole mountain.
- Width: 100mm wide.
- I-Flex- Atomic has developed a boot like none other. To give the skier unparallel traction and balance, the I-Flex allows the forefoot to move naturally under forefoot flex.
- Buckles- 4 magnesium micro adjustable buckles reduce weight and give precise adjustment.
- Liner- The asymetrical ASY Sport liner system compliments how the foot works in the shell. While your foot drives the ski, the ASY Sport liner allows you superior feel and grip. As the edge is released, the liner springs back to provide more cushioning and all around comfort. Using a combination of heat moldable EVA and memory foam, the liner gives the best level of comfort with the ultimate in precision and energy transmission.
- Insoles- Sidas Comform'able insoles give ample support and a personalized fit for control and comfort.
- Therm-ic capable- Get cold feet? The liner and shell are Therm-ic ready to have a Therm-ic battery boot heater easily installed. The liner has a covered opening in the heel for the wire from the insole and it has elastic bands up the back to keep the wires in place. More important is the battery holder. Instead of clipping the battery onto the shell where it can come off, the Therm-ic battery holder holds the battery in place securely.
- Powerstrap- The 1 1/2 inch wide powerstrap allows you to dail in a precise fit and adjust flex.
- Shaft alignment- You can fine tune your boots with your skis for more personalization with the outer shaft alignment.
- Color- The translucent red with black trim has an aggressive look.
