Sorry, this model is sold out!
The Flow Merc with Brite cosmetics comes to you with a base geometry that offers a slightly convex base for more forgiving turns, combined with a super mellow EZ-Rock slight reverse camber for super easy turning while still giving you a nice, poppy flex. Flow's tried-and true EZTransitional Sidecut unleashes the best in any rider, for easier progression. Designed so you can feel limitless on the hill, while knowing there are no more boundaries based on your budget.
The 2011-2012 Flow Merc Snowboard features.....
- SHAPE- Slightly directional to go forward 90% of the time but don't be afraid to switch now and then.
- ROCKER- EZ Rock reverse camber makes this an easy ride good even for the entry level rider.
- SIDECUT- DT sidecut gives you a mellow radius in the tip and tail for response and a tight radius between the boots for quick carving turns.
- CORE- Most boards at this price and performance have a foam core. The Flow Merc TruFlex core uses different density popular wood core for excellent response and stability. Just like a higher performance board.
- CONSTRUCTION- Biax Fibers run at a 0 degree axis to add pop and make it a easy carve all mountain board.
- BASE- The Optix 2000 extruded base is very easy to wax and easy to maintain.
ABOUT SIZING...
Many shops will say your board should be between your nose and chin. If they say that, run out of there. Flow has a sizing chart on the back of each board. They recommend a certain weight range for each length. So who are you going to believe? Some sales person or the manufacture? When between sizes, the rule to follow is the more aggressive you are, the longer you go.
- 149 cm- 90 -140 pounds
- 153 cm- 105 -150 pounds
- 156 cm- 115 - 160 pounds
- 159 cm- 125 - 175 pounds
Our comments- Most boards at this price are capped and have a foam core construction. The Flow Merc is designed with a wood core just like Flow's more expensive boards so you get more from your ride.
