Flow Shifty Snowboard
Sorry, this one is sold out!
Flow's Shifty snowboard is built to destroy anything in its path. The TruTwin shape allows for equal control in any direction while Pop-Cam with a 3 phase camber delivers the optimal edge control, underfoot camber pop, and a flatter tip and tail so you can press and boost off jumps. Flow's Shifty is the ultimate in park performance.
Flow Shifty Snowboard features...
- ABILITY- Good intermediates to advanced riders
- TERRAIN- Park / Freestyle. Built to destroy anything in its path!
- SIDECUT- The DT sidecut utilizes a combination of two radii. First, a tight radius for quick, responsive carves is blended into a mellow radius right before the nose and tail of the board for rough terrain, high speeds and the forgiveness you need while jumping.
- THE SHAPE- True Twin design which is essential for a park board. The EZDT Sidecut uses a longer than normal blend zone for more stability.
- ROCKER/CAMBER- The Pop-Cam is a three-phase camber to make the most fun cambered snowboard on the market. Under the feet is a traditional camber that is flat between the bindings for added grip on ice, better float in the pow and to lock onto rails, while the tips are mellow for a more forgiving ride. Pop where you need it!
- CONSTRUCTION- TruFlex core technology features a high strength-to-weight wood construction utilizing different density poplar woods uniquely profiled to give you excellent all-around response when riding the mountain. Whiskey Royale technology utilizes Biax Fiberglass beneath the heel and toe areas of the binding, eliminating chatter and making for a smoother ride. By directing the glass toward the edge, we increase the edge hold while allowing for quicker, easier turn initiation and delivering a responsive ride and increasing the life of the board.
- BASE- Speed, wax absorption and durability are the main ingredients of the Sintered 4000. This is done through focusing on quality over speed-robbing additives. For an even faster base, the Graphite Sintered 4000 only has speed on its mind.
- ABOUT SIZING... Many shops will say your board should be between your nose and chin. If they say that, run out of there. Flow has a sizing chart on the back of each board. They recommend a certain weight range for each length. So who are you going to believe? Some sales person or the manufacture? When between sizes, the rule to follow is the more aggressive you are, the longer you go.
150 cm- 90 - 140 lbs.
153 cm- 125 - 195 lbs.
156 cm- 135 - 195+ lbs
Our comments- If you want a park board that can still handle the whole mountain, and still like the way a traditional cambered board rides, the Flow Shifty is for you.
