In form™ fit system: The adjustable rear dial makes it easy to dial in a custom fit in seconds – even with gloves on. An ergo-friendly dial at the base of the helmet provides up to 6cm of adjustment and enhanced stability while the vertical tuning feature accommodates different goggles and head shapes for a custom fit, free of goggle gap.
Adjustable thermostat™ ventilation control: Allows you to custom tune the airflow instantly with 10 vents with a simple slide adjustment control knob on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective at keeping you comfortable.
Super cool™ vents: These pull cool, fresh air into the helmet while pushing heat and stale air out. By maximizing efficiency and optimizing vent shapes, the collective cooling power of Super Cool vents helps to regulate your core temperature and keep you feeling fresh all day.
In-mold technology: In-mold construction fuses the helmet’s outer shell with the impact-absorbing EPS liner. The two materials are fused together, and one is reinforced by the other. This ‘exoskeleton’ allows us to engineer helmets that are lighter, more durable and better ventilated.
Removable visor: The visor helps to keep snow off the top of your goggles and does help direct air flow into your goggle helping with anti fog control. There are 3 small screws that hold the visor on and can be installed or removed in less than a minute.
Helmet sizing....
Giro's unique In Form™ adjustable fit system allows a wide range of fit per each size. You are able to dial in your comfort level with a built in adjustable headband. This comes in especially handy when you need a little extra room when wearing a head liner.
To get the correct helmet size, measure the circumference of your head just above the eyebrows with a soft tape measure. When in doubt, go up one size.
SMALL: between 52 - 55.5 cm or 20.5 - 21.75 inches
MEDIUM: between 55.5 - 59 cm or 21.75 - 23 inches
LARGE: between 59 - 62.5 cm or 23 - 24.25 inches
X-LARGE: between 62.5 - 65 cm or 24.5 - 25.5 inches
