Kids first set of skis
Need skis for the littlest one in the family? Here's a set of skis and poles for parents who want to introduce their 1 1/2 to 4 year old kids to the joys of skiing and outdoor winter fun.
Features......
- Skis: At 70 cm long, they'll be easy to maneuver for even the smallest skier.
- Ski bottoms: In the middle of the bottom of the skis, there are fish scale bottoms like cross country skis. This way they have a difficult time going backwards and can walk around on the flats if needed. It also keeps their speed down and more controlled.
- Bindings: The nylon strap and plastic reinforced bindings secure the kids the skis. They are easy to adjust and best of all, you can use your child's soft outdoor boots.
- Poles: Poles are something they may not need but comes in very handy at times. At only 60 cm long, poles at this length are very hard to find.
- Recommended age range: 1 1/2 - 4 years old.
Our comments: We've found most kids don't have enough control of their motor skills until around 4 years old. This package gives that age range an inexpensive alternative and allows them to get out in the back yard or a small slope and enjoy the outdoors.
