This is a great ski for advanced to expert skiers spending most of their time cruising fast on groomed runs but not afraid to ski the whole mountain.
Salomon Enduro XT800 ski features...
- Ability level- Agressive advanced to expert skiers skiing 60% groomed and 40% ungroomed terrain.
- Dimensions- 125/79/107 in a 168 cm with a 14.6 radius. The 79mm waist is primarily for groomed runs but allows you to venture off groomed runs.
- Construction- The full wood core with bamboo has a double layer of titanium 400 which adds stability but still gives a lively feel. The Sandwich Sidewall Construction gives you a solid feel under the foot on hard pack while the Total Edge Reinforcement System adds to improve edge durability and edge grip.
- Rocker- All Terrain Rocker has tip rocker with camber underfoot. Tip rocker will help the ski plane on powder, help initiate quick turns and even absorb vibrations caused by bumps and crud.
- Binding system- The Protrack Z12 offers an Extended Transfer Plate under the binding which uses aluminium embedded in rubber for direct feedback.
Our comments; The Enduro series skis is a big step in improvement over the older X-Wing design and somehow Salomon was able to lower the price. The Salomon Enduro XT 800 will offer you performance that other manufactures charge more for.
