The Salomon Impact 8 CS has a bi-injected shell with kaprolene which easily deforms when warmed up to the shape of your foot but keeps it's new form when cooled down, and has the same characteristics as regular plastic. Pair custom shell technology up with all the other features the Impact 8 CS has to offer and you've got the ultimate ski boot in personal customization.

- Custom shell technology: Shapes the hard shell of the boot, along with the liner to your foot to give you precise on-snow transmission and perfect comfort. This technology comes straight from Salomon's racing division to give you excellent performance, fit and precision.
- Liner: Thermoformable foam on the sides, by the ankle and in the tongue for precision and comfort.
- Rear spoiler: Adjustable rear spoiler which can also be removed completely.
- Buckles: 4 micro titanium adjustable buckles with a first tooth catch to get the fit you need.
- Instep buckle: Has 3 different positions so you can get a truely personalized fit.
- Canting: Single canting adjustment allowing the cuff alignment to be moved towards the interior to fit the skier's lower leg shape.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: To have the Custom Shell and liners fitted to your feet properly, you must see a shop like Alpine Accessories which has a certified Salomon boot fitter with the Salomon oven and tools to heat the boots and fit them to your feet. Without the oven, the shell will not be fitted to your foot.
