The Salomon 2011-2012 Lord freeride twin tip skis
Looking for a great all mountain ski to explore the entire mountain? Then look at the lord. It's 87mm waist is quick and edgy on the hard pack, and gives some float in the broken snow, crud and powder.
The Salomon Lord freeride twin tip ski features...
- Ability: Good intermediate to advance skiers who wants to explore the entire mountain.
- Terrain- 50% groomed, 50% ungroomed
- Dimensions- 128/87/115 in a 177cm with a 17mm radius. The 87mm waist is quick and edgy on the hard pack yet gives some float in the broken snow, crud and powder.
- Construction- A wood core with composite laminates gives the Lord torsional strength and power for all but the heaviest or more aggressive skiers.
- Edge design- Total Edge Reinforcement, Wide Edges, and Edge Armor make the Lord durable, and ready to take on rails, and rocks.
- The Pulse Pad dampening system is elastomer layers along the entire edge of the ski for shock absorption, and smoother ski to snow contact.
- Rocker- A semi twin tip tail reduces the swing weight of the ski, releases the ski out of a turn easier, and gives you the option to learn switch skiing and landings. Salomon's All Terrain Rocker is rocker in the tip of the ski for quick turn initiation on the groomers, added float in the powder, and a smoother ride in the moguls, or curd.
Our comments; The Salomon Lord is a perfect ski for the intermediate to advanced skier that doesn't want the added weight of a system binding and would like to start to explore all aspects of the mountain.
Alpine Accessories recommends to have your bindings installed, adjusted and tested by a certified authorized retailer.
