It will wear down the file immediately. That's why we offer files that are specifically designed for ski and snowboard tuning.
This traditional fine grade 6 inch non chrome file is the perfect tuning file for doing finish work and acheiving that fine edge. An 8 inch file should be used for taking down a lot of edge. A great file for recreational tuners.
