It's important to have a coiled paddle board leash
11 Foot Coiled Paddle Board Leash
MSRP - $39.95
| In stock
The BIC 11' coiled knee leash attaches to any paddle board for a safety precaution in the event your board gets away from you after a fall. Ankle leashes are good but sometimes you step on them and get in the way. The BIC SUP 11ft coiled knee leash is ideally suited for all purpose flat water and open water applications. If you plan to spend time on the water, especially on windy days, we recommend a leash.
Whether you're a beginner or an advance paddler going out on a windy day or on a river with a current, you want a board leash. If you step off the back of your board, you can propel your board forward faster than you can swim so you can't get to your board. A board leash saves you from embarassment and could save your life.

Our comments; You have to decide if you want an ankle or knee leash. Novice and intermediates tend to favor an ankle leash. More advanced paddlers tend to favor a knee leash because they don't step on the leash during tricks and manuveurs.
