Being comfortable on the slopes also means keeping your feet warm. The K2 BFC 90 heated boots is a boot with a heater seamlessly built into the toe area of the liner, not added on afterwards. The heat controls are on top of the liner and easy to use. The heat elements are built in the liner, placed just above the toes. And the batteries, are between the shell and liner behind the calf. K2 did such a good job, you don't even know it's there until you need it.

Width- The 103 mm wide liner is a little wider than the average 100 mm liner for people needing a little more room.
Liner- The K2 CushFit liner is very comfortable, especially if you take your boots to a ski shop to have the liners heated and molded to the shape of your feet.
The HEAT- K2 worked with THERM-IC to design the heating system. The controls, wires, batteries, and heat elements are seamlessly built into the liner without affecting your fit.
About the heat- Two lithium ion batteries are built in the liner behind the calf and out of the way. They supply the power to a heating elements which are directly over your toes. You have three heat settings. On low, you can get up to 17 hours of heat, on medium up to 8.5 hours, and high up to 4.5 hours. The control switch is located on the outside upper part of the liner and can be operated wearing your gloves. Three red lights tell you which setting you're on. Charging can take up to 4 hours with the charger cord that plugs into a USB port.
