Key features of the K2 Poacher Twin Tip skis with Marker bindings......
Skill level- Intermediate to low advanced youth skiers skiing groomed blue runs with the occasional try something more challenging.
Skis specifications- 102 x 75 x 96 with a 10m radius in a 129 cm length.
Construction- This is a full wood core ski, not an inexpensive foam core. Wood offers more grip, more response, and more durability. And it's why the ski performs better for better skiers.
Twin tip- Youth skiers love to have fun and enjoy making turns and skiing backwards occasionally. The twin tip design allows your child to ski in any direction with more ease and control.
Rocker- The All terrain tip rocker helps the ski go into a turn easier and allows it to be more versatile.
Bindings- The Marker 7.0 has a twin cam heel for easy step in. The binding has a DIN setting of 2.5 -7.0 and accepts the standard 5355 or GripWalk boot soles. Never attempt to install and or adjust the bindings yourself. Instead, take them to a shop with a certified Marker technician for proper adjustment.
Color- Tops are a mix of black, gray, with yellow trim. Bases are a cool looking yellow.
Warranty- K2 offers a 2 year warranty on the skis.
K2 does not allow their retailers to ship their products outside the USA.
129 cm- 90 to 110 lbs.
139 cm- 105 to 125 lbs.
129 cm- 120 to 140 lbs.
If weight falls in between two sizes, go longer if taller than average. And go down if shorter than average.
Our comments- Kids have been telling us for years they love this ski. Who are we to argue.
