3 Steps to Selecting Your Ski Boot Heaters
STEP 1: If you have pre-installed heating elements in your boots, (you can tell by the wires coming out of your boots), all you need is a battery power source which is the battery and charger.
STEP 2: If you do not have heating elements, you have 3 options how the heat goes in your boots.
See the heated insole comparison chart.
- Select HEATING ELEMENTS: if you have custom insoles, orthotics, or want to keep your current insoles. The heating elements are added to your current insoles. (Heat Kit for Therm-ic and Cambrelle for Hotronic.)
- Select a FLAT INSOLE with HEAT ELEMENTS : This is the most popular because it's easy to install and can be moved from boot to boot. (Therm-ic Heat Flat or Hotronic One-Size insole)
- Select SUPPORTIVE INSOLES with pre-installed HEATING ELEMENTS: These insoles replace your current insoles and offer arch support and a heel cup making them more supportive than flat insoles. (Therm-ic 3D insoles or Hotronic Semi-custom insoles)
STEP 3: After selecting heated insoles, you need to power the heat elements with batteries. A simple rule to follow is the more expensive the battery system, the longer the heat will last.
