3 Steps to Selecting Your Ski Boot Heater
STEP 1: If you have pre-installed heating elements in your boots, (you can tell by the wires coming out of your boots), all you need is a battery power source and a charger.
STEP 2: If you do not have heating elements, you have 3 options in how the heat will go in your boots.
See the heated insole comparison chart.
- Select HEATING ELEMENTS: (Trim-fit for Therm-ic and Cambrelle for Hotronic.) if you have custom insoles, orthotics, or want to keep your current insoles. The heating elements are added to your current insoles.
- Select a FLAT INSOLE with HEAT ELEMENTS : (Therm-ic Classic or Hotronic One-Size insole) This is the most popular because it's easy to install and can be moved from boot to boot.
- Select SUPPORTIVE INSOLES with pre-installed HEATING ELEMENTS: (Therm-ic Perform insoles or Hotronic Semi-custom insoles) These insoles replace your current insoles and offer arch support and a heel cup making them more supportive than flat insoles.
STEP 3: After selecting heated insoles, you need to power the heat elements with batteries. A simple rule to follow is the longer you want your heat to last, the more expensive the batteries will cost.
